Puerto Rico is back in the dark.
The island nation lost power Wednesday and was expected to be in the dark for 24 to 36 hours, according to the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority.
A single power line originating in Aguirre caused the entire electric system to go down, plunging the island into darkness, according to Telemundo PR.
The blackout came seven months after Hurricane Maria slammed Puerto Rico, devastating the island.
