Brooklyn woman found after alleged Canarsie Park abduction

A 22-year-old Brooklyn woman — feared abducted near the park where another woman’s dismembered remains were discovered Monday — was found safe on Saturday, police said.
Olivia Elliot surfaced roughly 10 hours after she called her mother in a panic claiming two men with guns had grabbed her, according to officials.
She was being interviewed Saturday afternoon to determine if the abduction took place, a police source said.
Olivia Elliot, 22, was last seen leaving her apartment in Canarsie, Brooklyn on April 2, 2018. (NYPD)
The alleged grab took place about a mile away from Canarsie Park, where a dog walker found the dismembered remains of 26-year-old Brandy Odom on Monday evening.
Police believe Odom was dismembered and her remains dumped in the park within 24 hours of her death.
The alleged abduction is about a mile away from Canarsie Park, where a dog walker found the dismembered remains of 26-year-old Brandy Odom (pictured) on Monday evening.
The city medical examiner’s office has yet to release an official determination on how Odom died, but police are investigating as if it’s a homicide.
There’s no evidence linking Odom’s death to Elliot’s disappearance, an NYPD spokesman said.
